Santiago's Bodega serves globally inspired tapas meant for sharing, in a room of original artwork and reclaimed wood. Happy hour brings half-priced draft beer, wines by the glass and sangria by the glass, plus a $5 tapas menu that changes daily. The Key West location pours beer and wine only, with no spirits, so plan on sangria or wine rather than a liquor cocktail.

Alonzo's Oyster Bar sits on the A&B Marina waterfront along the Harborwalk, surrounded by water on three sides, with an extended Patio Bar. Happy hour takes half off all small plates. The oyster of the day is $3, and it changes, so ask which variety is on offer before you order a round.

Milagro Restaurant & Bar on Duval Street cooks Latin, Mexican and Caribbean food from scratch. Happy hour is buy-one-get-one on martinis, liquor pours, margaritas, wine and beer, with discounted small plates alongside. The window is a tight 90 minutes, and seating is at the bar and high-tops, first come, first served, with no reservations taken for happy hour.

Bagatelle occupies an 1800s building near Mallory Square that was converted into a restaurant in 1979. It runs two happy hours every day: a breakfast hangover happy hour in the morning and an afternoon happy hour.

Old Town Mexican Cafe on Duval Street serves Mexican food and runs a tequila bar that it says carries more than 200 tequila and mezcal selections. Happy hour brings half-price appetizers and $2 off draft beer. Domestic beer is $4; imported beer, house wine and house liquor are $5; and sangria and margaritas are $7.
